Davos Congress Center Manager Markus Schiedeck provides Ambassador Beyer with a tour of the Center

Davos, October 21, 2009: The Ambassador embarked on his tour of Graubunden with a visit to the Davos Congress Center, the centerpiece for over 150 conferences held every year in Europe’s highest altitude congress town.

The Davos Congress Center is home to the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting, which is often attended by numerous United State government officials. An expansion project is underway to add a new congress hall designed by the Swiss architect Henry Degelo that will seat an additional 2,000 people.
