During the visit, Ambassador Beyer received an orientation on the mission and activities of Spiez Lab and saw the chemistry division lab, the under-construction bio-safety level 4 (BSL-4) labs, and ongoing research conducted by the Spiez Lab protective clothing division.

Ambassador Beyer and Dr. Cadisch also discussed ongoing and future bilateral projects and initiatives between the Spiez Lab and its U.S. counterparts.
