Swiss Genealogical Researchers

Fees for genealogical research vary greatly according to the case. It is best to request an estimate from the research firm beforehand. It is suggested to enclose international reply coupons for return mail. The civil registry system in Switzerland has only existed sine 1874. Before that date, the records of birth, marriages and deaths were kept by the churches and written down in their church books.
