Public Affairs Officer Alex Daniels visited Sarah Marie Young on her final day in Ebersol, district of Toggenburg, St. Gallen. Vocalist Sarah Marie Young and her band stayed at Balik Farm Studio in Ebersol for an entire week to record their new album. Ms. Young had received a grant from the Public Affairs Section to participate in the 2011 Montreux Jazz Voice Competition and won the first prize. The first prize package included one week of recording at a professional recording studio in Switzerland – Balik Farm Studio in Ebersol. Alex Daniels was given a tour of the high-tech studio and seized the opportunity to listen to a track before the production of the CD.
