Ambassador Donald Beyer with Rajendra Kumar Pachauri at the U.S. Chief of Mission Residence in Copenhagen during the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference. Pachauri is the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). On December 10, 2007, Al Gore shared a Nobel Peace Prize with the IPCC; Pachauri represented the IPCC at the awards ceremony.
