25 January 2007 -- Ambassador Coneway Speaks About Climate Change and Iraq on WEF live TV
Davos -- “The U.S. is a world leader in environmental protection. By the end of this decade, we will have invested fifty billion dollars in combating climate change,” said U.S. Ambassador Peter Coneway during an interview on WEF live TV this morning. U.S. climate change policy and the U.S. commitment to a democratic Iraq figured prominently in the Ambassador’s interview, which took place in the context of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Ambassador also discussed the stalled Doha Round, U.S. and Swiss trade relations, and various aspects of the President’s State of the Union Address.
