09 January 2007 -- Ambassador Coneway Meets with Former Ambassador Kunin

Bern -- Ambassador Coneway welcomed the former U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein Madeleine May Kunin at the Ambassador’s Residence. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Kunin immigrated to the United States with her mother and brother because of the threat of the Holocaust in 1940. She served as ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein from 1996 to 1999.
